Pocahontas - Fast-growing and high yielding, this elderberry varietal packs a punch! Flower cymes and berry heads are larger than others, up to 24” across. Shorter growing seasons may result in berries that don’t fully ripen, as blooms occur later than other varieties. Indeterminate
Pocahontas is a newer cultivar and highly desirable - we limit the quantity to try to allow more to try this exciting cultivar.

I bought 10 cuttings and 4 are dead. The other ones are doing awesome. The day I received them I unwrapped them and put them in a very high grade of potting soil. The live ones are growing leaves and are healthy

Elderberry cuttings may take at least 4-6 weeks before you see growth, so they may just need a little more time. We're glad to hear that 6 have taken off very quickly for you.

Rooted the cuttings the same day of arrival. Will pot in a few weeks and grow them till fall then set out. Hope all goes well.

I just got the cuttings in the ground today. Compared to Bob Gordon, Ranch, and Adams, the Pocahontas cuttings were by far the largest. They appeared very healthy and just starting to bud out. I’m expecting these cuttings to be vigorous and am looking forward to the results.
